Welcome! Leading Ed Forum 2019 includes topics of concern for school division technology directors, presented by leaders from the department of education and school divisions across the Commonwealth.

The half day workshop on October 10 will include Dr. Scott McLeod and National Teacher of the Year Rodney Robinson discussing equitable use of technology in classroom instruction. This workshop is designed for school division teams including technology and instruction and time will be provided for in depth facilitated discussion.

Use the schedule to plan your conference. VSTE will NOT be providing a printed copy of the schedule so if you prefer paper, please print your own. If you create an account with sched.com, you can save and share your favorites as well as print a personalized schedule.

IMPORTANT: While we encourage you to save and share, indicating interest in a session DOES NOT guarantee a seat in a session. All sessions are first come, first served.

If you have not registered for the Leading Ed Forum 2019, please do so: http://events.vstereg.org.

If you are registered, you are invited to attend the post-conference tour of the Robert Russa Moton Museum in Farmville, Virginia. The 1951 Moton Student Strike produced three-fourths of the plaintiffs in Brown v. Board of Education (1954), the landmark Supreme Court decision desegregating U.S. schools. Guided tours will be offered beginning at 2 PM on October 10, 2019. The tour is free but pre-registration is required. Register here.
